Destination Disney

A change of plans! Instead of staying at the El Tovar for the second night, we went in to flagstaff and stayed at the Rodeway Inn, a cheap motel close to the airport. In flagstaff there was a shop with scary decorations in it so dad took a photo of me in front of it.

Then we found a park with a curious rock you could drink out of!

We went to the airport and got on the plane. We arrived in Orlando Airport and got on the Disney Magical Express shuttle bus to take us to our resort, Pop Century!

The magic express took us straight to our hotel. It had Disney cartoons playing on TV’s inside the bus and the TVs also showed us information.

Our resort is called Pop Century and is themed around pop culture in the last century. Our building is themed around the 50’s, but others are about the 60’s and 70’s.

Disney has this feature called Disney Magic Wristbands that you can unlock the cabin door with and also pay with because they are linked to a debit card.

We bought a cup that you could infinitely refill drinks while we are at the resort for free.

(psst… I got Coke…)

Anyway, we made it to Orlando, and by definition Disney, safely. Tomorrow we will get on the serious rides, we are heading to Animal Kingdom, a mixture of a Theme Park and a Zoo!
